ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Seeking a Content Developer to join our Creative Team. Ideal candidates will have two years of content development experience, with agency experience preferred. Candidates must possess demonstrated capabilities in creative writing, along with the ability to maintain the brand voice for clients across a broad range of industries and communication styles. In addition to creativity, we’re looking for team members who are organized, strategic, driven, passionate, positive, and team players.

Fundamental job requirements include:

  • Brainstorming/concepting on big-picture creative thinking for new campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborating with art directors on all assignments and projects
  • Content organization and strategy
  • Creative writing projects across all clients, including print ads, digital banner ads, radio scripts, video scripts, brand positioning exercises, websites, emails, brochures, and billboards
  • Receiving feedback—both positive and negative—and making revisions, as appropriate
  • Keeping up with popular culture, the evolution of language, and communications trends
  • Collaborating with social media team on content development, including blogs, organic content and paid social media ad copy
  • Content development for websites and landing pages, including contributing to the site’s information architecture development (organization and labeling), writing page copy and implementing SEO tactics (meta descriptions, title and ALT tags, etc.)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 2+ years’ experience in content development/creative writing (agency experience preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related preferred
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Thorough knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules supported by strong proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, keeping all assignments on track
  • Ability to work under pressure and turn around projects within a tight timeline, as needed
  • Ability to persuasively present ideas to internal teams as well as clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and G Suite
  • Proficient across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Familiar with Search Engine Optimization tactics
  • A desire for continued learning and professional development
