A Case For Curiosity

If there’s an idiom we simply can’t stand, it’s “Curiosity killed that cat.” Not just because we’re serious animal lovers at Rawle Murdy, but because that kind of thinking keeps you from asking questions, pushing boundaries, and trying new things.

We believe curiosity is essential to our success, and that’s evidenced by a direct mail piece we created for Balsam Mountain Preserve. When tasked with designing a mailer that could break through the clutter to grab the attention of its recipients, while still communicating the private community’s unique brand, we let curiosity drive our creativity.

We dreamed up an idea that ignored logistical challenges and potential hang-ups. What came to life was a custom-made wood box that would hold a Balsam Spruce sapling and planting instructions. And we’re proud to share the piece just won a National Addy Award for Best 3D Mailer.

Curiosity for the win. (No cats harmed.)
